After yet another overnight bus, I arrived in Arequipa in the early morning. Arequipa is a darling town with a thriving city center. Plaza de Armas is a lovely place to hang out and people-watch.
I noticed there were a ton of police and people walking around in suits. Apparently, APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) was in town.
